Project: Successful Cloning of Non-Surgical Liposuction Machine

Customer: Fujian

Project Scope: Chip Decryption, PCB Cloning, BOM Generation, Schematic Design, PCB Integration

Project Highlights: Board Integration

When the customer brought the product, they didn't explicitly mention what it was. It wasn't a complete product either, and the English words "Non-Surgical Liposuction Machine" were written on the casing. In our line of work, we usually don't ask customers about the specifics of their products, and we often come to know about them by chance.

The casing was large, and it contained multiple boards. I counted and found that there were five boards of different sizes. One of them was a control board with a programmable chip AT89C52, a chip we have decrypted numerous times—probably enough to fill a whole drawer. The customer's straightforward request was to help merge these boards.

All the boards were double-sided, which posed no difficulty for us. However, since we hadn't encountered this product before, we decided to reverse engineer the schematic for the customer's convenience in future repairs and our convenience in the board modification process. We followed our usual routine, starting with board disassembly, followed by BOM generation, PCB file creation, and schematic reverse engineering. We repeated these steps multiple times. After analyzing the schematic for each part, our engineers smoothly proceeded with PCB modifications, resulting in the creation of a large board and a smaller control board.
