The customer is an automotive research center and requested us to perform reverse engineering for secondary development. After receiving the board, we found densely packed LED components on the large 31*30CM board. The customer required PCB files, BOM list, and schematics.

Although the board is large, it is a double-sided board with a special coating called "three-proof paint." The three-proof paint is a specially formulated coating used to protect the circuit board and related equipment from environmental corrosion. It exhibits excellent properties like high and low-temperature resistance, forming a transparent protective film after curing, providing superior insulation, moisture resistance, leakage prevention, shock resistance, dust resistance, corrosion resistance, anti-aging, and anti-electrical arcing.

The first step was to handle the three-proof paint. We used chemical reagents for cleaning and then proceeded to help the customer with the silk screen editing, followed by conventional PCB cloning. For Dongdao Technology, this is a routine task, as we have been involved in PCB cloning and chip decryption for many years.
