As people pay increasing attention to the living environment, solar energy, as a clean and environmentally friendly energy source, is becoming more and more popular. Solar-powered electronic scales are expected to become the mainstream in the future electronic scale market, as other countries already have mature technological support. Although the development of solar-powered kitchen scales in China started relatively late, it has seen rapid progress in recent years, especially with the support of reverse engineering enterprises that embrace the concept of a strong nation and foster a spirit of innovation. China has successfully applied solar-powered kitchen scales with independent intellectual property rights in certain fields.

Understanding the characteristics of the control chip HY11P13 ADC:

  • Low voltage operation → ADC minimum operating voltage of 2.4V.
  • ADC gain amplification → ×1/4 to ×16.
  • Built-in preamplification circuit (PGA) → ×1 to ×8.
  • Reference voltage setting → ×1/2 and ×1.
  • Offset setting → 0, ±1/4Vref, ±1/2Vref, ±3/4Vref.
  • Built-in input signal switching → V+ V-, V+ short, V- short, V+ V- cross 4 modes of switching.
  • Multiple-channel signal input.
  • Various output rate options → ADCK / 256 to ADCK / 32768.
  • High resolution → 18 bits output resolution.
  • Minimum resolution voltage → minimum resolution voltage of 0.07uV.
  • Rail to Rail signal input → input signal ranges from VSS – 0.2V to VDDA.
  • Gain temperature drift coefficient → 10 PPM/℃.

Characteristics of HY11P13 chip:

  • 8-bit enhanced Reduced Instruction Set (RISC) architecture with 69 instructions, including hardware multiplication and table lookup instructions.

  • Operating voltage range from 2.2V to 3.6V, working temperature range from -40℃ to 85℃.

  • External quartz oscillator and internal high-precision RC oscillator with 6 CPU operating frequency switching options to achieve optimal power-saving planning for users.

    • Operating mode: 300uA @ 2MHz;
    • Standby mode: 3uA @ 32KHz;
    • Sleep mode: 1uA.
  • Built-in LCD driver for 4x20 dot display.

  • Low voltage detection with multiple-stage power voltage detection.

  • Built-in multiple-stage regulated outputs: 3.3V, 2.93V, 2.64V, 2.4V.

  • Serial SPI communication.

  • PWM/PFD output.
